READ MOREMarshals are at every one of our 220 points of the course, working as a team, communicating and being trained for any eventuality so they can keep everyone safe
Once you have completed 3 or more practice or race sessions under the guidance of an experienced marshal on the live TT course, you will be eligible to attend an Incident Management Course (IMC), which is your final step to attain status as a fully trained Marshal.
This is a full day's course which covers all aspects of marshalling on the TT course and covers various safety elements to help with scene management, whether it be an oil spill or a rider incident. The course will leave you well prepared and confident for your marshalling duties.
Once you've qualified as a full marshal, you can volunteer for any part of the course, and although some prefer to return to the same part of the course each event, others enjoy the challenge of seeing different locations, after all, there are over 220 to choose from!
To help adapt to the needs of the event, we've created a Sector 00 that allows you to volunteer for late deployment, sometimes on the day of an event. You will be able to select Sector 00 when you sign up.
